I started my new job this week! On top of running this food blog, my favorite job, I am also a registered CT technologist. I haven’t been working as a CT tech for a few months as we were getting settled in our move to Texas. So it was time to get back out there! I decided to work PRN, which is one of the perks in working in healthcare, so I still have time to work on my blog and spend time with the fam.
I have been seeing lots of recipes using cauliflower cheese sauces. As a lover of all things cheese, I was intrigued… Well, let me tell you I was not disappointed! It is really good and a lot less fattening than a traditional cheese sauce.

I finally made my first batch of homemade spaghetti sauce!
Tomatoes, tomatoes, and more tomatoes… What in the world am I going to do with all of these tomatoes? We do this every spring, we plants so many tomato plants and then they all come in at once.
I hate to waste anything so I am finally taking the time this summer to make my own salsa and sauce.
Got zucchini? Holy smokes we have lots and lots of zucchini growing in our garden right now! So I am trying to get creative with recipe ideas.

My daughter just loves applesauce. So I decided to try making my own since the store stuff contains so much sugar and yucky high fructose corn syrup. No need to add sugar to homemade applesauce. The apples are sweet all on their own! Next time I may throw some pears or strawberries in there to change it up.
