Here’s a quick delicious dip to serve at your next get together! I threw this dip together for a quick snack while on vacation at the beach.
The local produce stands are open for the summer! Nothing tastes better than fresh local produce. It is also awesome to support your local farmers.
Everything looks so delicious it’s hard to choose so I usually end up with a bunch of veggies and zucchini is one of them. I never have too many zucchini recipes. So when I saw this recipe on Closet Cooking I knew this would be perfect. Thanks Kevin!
We are throwing a 4th of July bash this year with a few of our awesome neighbors!
I want to keep it simple so I can enjoy myself and not running around the whole time. These red, white, and blue fruit cones are easy to make and look so festive.
I just love making kabobs for dinner. So easy and fun! You can use just about any meat or veggie and it will sure be a crowd pleaser!
I have so much oregano growing in my herb garden I am always looking for recipe ideas to use it. Continue reading Grilled Shrimp Kabobs
Now that summer is here I try to grill just about everything!
No way am I going to be inside cooking when I can be outside enjoying summer. And nothing says summer more than corn on the cob!
Yay! It’s the first day of summer! My favorite season. I love flip flops and sun dresses, the beach, gardening, and just being outside.
For Father’s Day I made my husband his favorite dish, Cioppino. Cioppino is a seafood stew originating in San Francisco.
It’s an Italian-American dish and is typically made with the catch of the day. Or in my case whatever is on special and looks good! I decided on mussels, calamari, cod, shrimp, and crab.
Sangria is definitely one of my favorite drinks. It’s super delicious and easy to make.
You can add any type of fruit you like. I had some strawberries, lime, and oranges I needed to use, and I thought that would make a great combo for summer. Well, it’s not actually summer yet, but close enough.
Sometimes you just need something sweet! Strawberry Chocolate Chips Muffins will definitely do the trick and not make you feel guilty. These muffins are super moist and oh so yummy.
I used some of those delicious strawberries I picked the other day. I picked so many strawberries I didn’t even make a dent in huge basket I got at a local farm. So it looks like we will be eating a lot of strawberries this week!
